After a a defeat at the weekend all focus and attention turns to next Saturday when we welcome local rivals Guisborough Town to The John Keegan Stadium who currently sit one point behind us in the league however they do have a game in hand, Skelly had the following to say about last weekend and the upcoming weekend.
"Saturday was really disappointing from a management point of view. We were second best literally all over the field and just couldn't get to grips with Kendal. Take nothing away from them they were very good and by far the best team we have faced this season by some distance, they will be up there challenging come the end of the season, BUT we need to do better as a group and thats not just the players that includes myself and the coaching staff also.
Wednesday we will be working on things in training with a massive derby game this weekend against Guisborough Town. They have a new management team in place and they are starting to find there feet so again it will be another good test as every game is.
With key players missing due to injuries and holidays its not ideal but this is why we have a squad so its down to them to grab this opportunity with both hands
Hopefully a big crowd at home will spur us on to a big 3 points" UTMU
