Three Sports Journalism Students share there short film on the rebuild of Marske United FC
This week saw the release of a short film documenting the rise and fall and the rebuild of Marske United, we caught up with Jacob one of the film makers who had the following words to say.
"Myself Ben and Danny saw the Marske situation a couple of months ago and thought it would be a good story to tell for our University assignment.
Being football fans ourselves, we know how much local football means to people, and we hope we have represented the club and the area in the right way.
Having visited the club and met people who work at the club we quickly realized how important Marske United is to everyone connected and it’s great to see the club moving forward.
As we are studying a degree in Sports Journalism, being handed a filmmaking task was fairly tricky, but together we hope and think we’ve produced something that Marske fans can get behind and more importantly are encouraged to support the team next season as exciting times are ahead"
