Marske United are looking to recruit new volunteers to improve the spectator experience at the John Keegan Stadium.

The club seeks passionate individuals to support in both matchday operations and day-to-day maintenance.

A wide range of jobs and opportunities are available. No specific skills are required, and training can be provided where necessary.

Marske United prides itself on having a committed, hard-working crop of volunteers. Tony Johnson - volunteer coordinator - labelled the opportunity as both rewarding and enjoyable.

“Volunteering at Marske United over the last five or so years has been a great experience,” he said. “I've performed a number of different roles at the club and that's the real beauty of volunteering.

“You don't have to have any particular skills, just be willing to turn up when you say you will and get stuck in.

“I've said many times that after retiring, the thing I missed most wasn't the job but the feeling of being valued for my contribution. Volunteering at Marske has changed all that. I have a feeling of real job satisfaction, whichever role I'm doing.”
