Speaking about his new signing, Marske United manager Curtis Woodhouse said: "He's a centre forward, strong, quick, and direct. Eddie will be a fantastic signing for us. He fits in an area we really needed to improve in.

"We need to give Adam Boyes more support than what he has been getting. I think bringing Eddie Church in on an 18 month deal is a real positive step moving forwards and he goes straight into the squad for Saturday"

Sharing his thoughts on joining the club, Church said: "I'm really excited to get started, and looking forward to working with Curtis, Steve Waide and the lads.

"It is a very important few weeks for us and hopefully I can help us avoid relegation and give the fans an entertaining end to the season."
