Marske United will travel to the Belle View Stadium to face Northern Premier League East’s Consett in the Preliminary Round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The tie will take place on Saturday 22nd August (3pm kick-off), with further details to follow closer to the time.

Consett booked their place in the Preliminary Round with victory over North Shields following a replay at the Daren Persson Stadium.

Shields struck late to take the tie back home following a tense clash at the weekend. Ben Sampson fired home the leveller to cancel out Isaac Walker’s fifth minute opener.

Consett again fell behind in a floodlight-disturbed replay, but fought valiantly to tie through Donny Holdsworth, and snatched victory in the dying embers through young Jesse Gomez.

Marske United were originally drawn to face Boro Rangers in the Extra-Preliminary Round, but were given a bye following the Middlesbrough-outfit’s unfortunate resignation.

The Seasiders meet the Steelmen on Saturday 22 August. Should the match end in a tie, a replay will be held at the John Keegan Stadium on Tuesday 25 August.
