Marske United have been drawn at home to fellow Northern League Division One side Penrith in the Second Round of the Brooks Mileson Memorial League Cup.

The Seasiders progressed through the opening round with a narrow victory over Ryton and Crawcrook Albion of Division Two on Tuesday evening.

Charlie Watt notched the winner on the night. He stepped up to dispatch a fifth minute free kick after Leo Robinson was brought down under a hefty challenge.

Penrith have once visited the John Keegan Stadium this season, running out shock victors after goals from Kian Makar and Jordan Palmer.

Tai Bell was sent off for the visitors, whilst Leo Robinson missed a penalty kick.

The tie will take place during the week, with kick-off to be set at 7:45pm. Once a date is set, it will be communicated with supporters at the earliest possible convenience.
