Marske United volunteer Christine Mudd will take on a charity skydive next week to raise money for Kidney Care UK.

Chris will make the jump on Sunday 23 August - weather permitting - with any donation greatly appreciated.

A regular friendly face in the Kabin at the John Keegan Stadium, Chris became an organ donor in 2018, offering her kidney to husband, Andrew, who was diagnosed with vasculitis two years earlier.

The pair joined Newcastle Adults Transplant Team and have since competed in both the British Transplant Games, and the World Transplant Games in Dresden, supported by Kidney Care UK.

Chris now aims to give back to the charity, taking on a host of challenges throughout the year, including making the jump later this month for a long-awaited skydive.
