Ron’s family attended our match against Marine in the Northern Premier League and on the 75th minute a round of applause was held around Mount Pleasant in memory of Ron.

Writing about the day Ron’s granddaughter Naomi said:

“Lovely gesture from Marske United doing a minute’s applause on the 75th minute for my grandad. He would of loved to of been stood at his normal seat cheering them on.

“I hope we done you proud Grandad.”

The club offers its deepest condolences to Ron’s family and would like to thank supporters around the ground who participated in the minute’s applause celebrating Ron’s life.
