The 20-year-old defender joined Boro in 2020 after previous spells with Crystal Palace, Arsenal, and Brighton and is eligible to represent Germany and Kenya on the international stage.

George was a regular for Boro's Under-18s in the 2020/21season and featured in their Under-17s' run to the Premier League Cup final. He has also made eight appearances with Boro’s Under-23s in the PL2, scoring in a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa.

In January of this year George was on the bench for Boro when they played Brighton at home in the FA Cup and also trained for the first team in pre season, starting in Boro's friendly against Hartlepool. 

Everyone involved at the club is delighted to have George onboard and can't wait to see him in action.

His first opportunities to appear will be away at Rylands tonight and then at home on Saturday against Worksop.
