Lewis joins the club after graduating from Gateshead's academy and has recently spent time on loan at Newcastle Benfield in the Northern League D1 last season.

He drew plaudits for his performances for the Lions, helping them to finish 10th in the league and was described by the club as a 'hardworking, strong tackling player who reads the game well.'

Lewis made his senior debut for Gateshead against Alfreton Town in the National League North in 2021/22

He also captained the U19’s team to a trophy double, winning the National League U19 Alliance Division 1 as well as securing the League Cup.

Lewis joins the Seasiders after the expiration of his contract. He becomes the fourth new Seasiders signing of the summer after Nathan Dale, Dan Myer, and Jake Hackett.

He is already integrating himself well into the side and took part in Marske United's recent training camp hike at Castle Eden Woods at the weekend

"Had many good reports on Lewis and after seeing him in training realised quickly we wanted him signed.

"A players who is hungry to do well , we looking to bring in young players who will move forward with the club and Lewis ticks all them boxes.

"Very fit and comfortable on the ball always looking to play forward.
