Thanks to everyone for making Tuesday night’s game happen in such atrocious conditions. A special mention to all of our volunteers for their hard work and dedication when working on the pitch. After the game the referee was asked if it was ever in danger of being abandoned at half-time. He said it was never a consideration as the pitch held up surprisingly well in the conditions that we had.

So it’s a great chance to say thank you and credit to everybody who played a part in getting the pitch in a playable condition which was topped off by us getting 3 huge points under Paul Burton for the first time.

We now look ahead to Saturday as we return to The John Keegan to take on West Auckland Town!
