The 21 year old central defender joined the club late last week and made his debut as a second half substitute in our FA Cup clash against the Dolly Blues.

With the Seasiders already 4 nil down by the time he entered the match, Camron showed great composure to steady the ship and put in an impressive display operating in a midfield role as the Seasiders won the second half.

Cameron started his career at Leicester City's academy before being snapped up by Manchester City. During his City stint he spent time on loan at Fylde before transfering to Colchester.

Last season he played for Wingate & Finchley at Step 3 in the Isthmian League where he won the club's Young Player and Directors' Player of the Season awards.

He strengthens the Seasiders backline following the loan departures of Jorge Sikora and Connor Smith last week.

Speaking about Camron's arrival assistant manager Ian Clark said :"He came in for one training session on Thursday.

"The lad looked good, so we got him signed and he's come on in the second-half there and he did, he looked really, really good.

"He's settled in really well. He has got a good pedigree."
