Marske United continue their journey in this season FA CUP competition when they travel to Crook Town of the Northern Football League. For both teams this is the second game in the competition, Crook overcame Yorkshire Amateur on penalties, whilst Marske beat North Shields 3-0 to progress. This game is a chance for both teams to progress in the cup, and also for both teams to get back to winning ways. Marske lost their last pre-season game away to Whitby whilst Crook were defeated 2-1 by Newcastle University in a league fixture. For Marske United this is also the last game ahead of the league season commencing and is a chance for the players to put in a good performance ahead of the league game away to City of Liverpool.
Supporters travelling to Crook for the game are reminded that the game is PAY ON THE GATE but the capacity is restricted to 300 so supporters are advised to arrive early to guarantee entry and also assist Crook with their Track and Trace procedures.
