Marske United have further strengthened their squad for the forthcoming season, with the capture of experienced attacking midfielder Dale Hopson. This is further great news for supporters and will further raise the anticipation ahead of the new season. Subject to FA approval.

Dale is a 28-year-old attacking midfielder who started his career at Darlington when they were a Conference National team. Dale then signed for Huddersfield Town before returning to the re-incarnation of Darlington FC when they played in the Northern League.
Dale then moved to Whitby Town in August 2014, where he spent 3 seasons before moving to Blyth Spartans for a season, scoring 12 goals in 39 games. Dale re-joined Whitby in July 2018 before moving to Thornaby for the 2020/21 season.

Manager Carl Jarrett said " Delighted to get Dale onboard this season. I have tried to sign him a few times, but it never happened. He is ideal for us especially with his experience at this level and above which is vital. He will bring different qualities to the squad which will help us and he's also a great lad and fits in well.
