Marske United are absolutely delighted to confirm the signing of talented midfielder, Leo Robinson, on a season-long loan from Guisborough Town.

The 20-year-old links up with Paul Burton’s squad to further strengthen depth in the middle of the park. He will be eligible to feature against Horden CW this evening.

Beginning his career in the academy at Hartlepool United, Leo went on to play for Redcar Athletic and Hebburn Town on short term loans - soon joining the Hornets on a permanent basis.

He made the switch to West Auckland Town in the December of 2024, following a spell with Bishop Auckland.

West gained promotion through the play-offs last season, with Leo at the heart of their success. He weighed in with 13 goals, picking up a nomination for Young Player of the Year from the Northern League.

Leo joins the Seasiders on a season-long loan from Guisborough Town - now of the Northern Premier League. He’ll bring energy, grit and and eye for goal to the side, much to the delight of Paul Burton.

The Marske boss said: “Leo had an exceptional year with West Auckland last season, helping them to promotion via the play offs.

“He will provide real quality from midfield, along with an eye for goal. I’m thrilled to have him sign on a season-long loan.”
