Volunteers from Marske United took part in a charity walk this Sunday - raising just shy of £1000 for the wonderful Mary Thompson Fund.
The contributions received on the day will
help to support the local refugee community in Redcar and Cleveland, looking to alleviate hardship from those in need.
Walkers begin the scenic four mile hike in Skelton, taking a path through the Valley Gardens in Saltburn before returning to Marske for a wonderful buffet.
The food was prepared by our friends from Afghanistan - a welcome sight for those at the end of their morning walk.
The club would like to thank all involved for their support this weekend. Thanks to those who donated, and who came along for the walk, or to enjoy the buffet.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
